## What Roger is

Roger is the marketing hub for AI agents: connect your ad and analytics tools once, and every teammate and AI agent works from the same source, with skills, context, guardrails and a full Activity log.

- Pricing: usage based, per tool call. Hobby is $0 with 10,000 tool calls a month; Pro is $25 a month with 18,333 calls, then $0.003 per tool call; Enterprise on request. Unlimited websites, teammates, connectors and AI assistants on every plan.
- Wording: a website is one site in Roger (the team's own, a client's or a side project's), with its own connectors, roles, guardrails and Activity. Say website to users; the MCP tools take it as `business_id`, and `list_businesses` lists them.
- Who it is for: any team that wants one shared, governed AI setup instead of everyone wiring their own: marketing teams, agencies, freelancers, startup studios and founders running several projects. Pricing follows usage (tool calls), for teams of every size.

## What Roger is not

- Not a chat app for new teams: the team works from its own AI assistant. Existing Roger Classic (chat) customers keep it until the sunset date emailed to them.
- Not an agency or a managed service: Roger is software.
- It does not publish Tag Manager containers and does not change Merchant Center.
- It does not generate images or videos; creative files come from the user or their own AI.
- It is not listed in a Claude or ChatGPT app directory: users add it as a custom connector.
- Tools marked soon on https://heyroger.ai/integrations/ are not connectable yet: say they are on the way, never that they work.

## Roles

Roles per website: Admin, Editor or Viewer. Viewers read. Editors make changes (drafts first, by default). Only Admins change guardrails (in the Roger web app), and Admins may cancel a teammate's draft.

## Guardrails and drafts

Roger checks every change in its code before it reaches an account. By default, a change is a draft the user confirms, and new campaigns and ads start paused.

- If a change is refused, relay the reason; do not retry variants. Offer the user a change within the limit and wait for their answer.
- Never confirm a draft the user has not seen and agreed to.
- Rules: Confirm every change, New items paused, Negative match types, Max budget increase, Items per change, No removals, Changes per hour, Spend ceiling, Protected campaigns, Block new campaigns, Freeze changes. Always on: Single-site ad groups, No manual broad, Text limits, Dead URL check.

## Data

Roger returns the data you ask for to the AI assistant you connected (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client), where that assistant's terms and your plan settings apply, and shares it only with the sub-processors listed on /privacy/ (for example Anthropic when you use Ask Roger).
